1. Restrooms

Located in downtown Puyallup, Pioneer Park pays homage to one of the area’s earliest settlers. It features a Veteran’s Memorial, a tot lot, a wading pool, a Rotary stage, built-in chess tables, and mature trees.

It’s also home to the Pioneer Park Pavilion, which is an 8,600-square-foot multi-purpose room that can accommodate up to 400 guests in banquet-style seating and 558 attendees for assembly. The room is open to the public on a rental basis and can be reserved up to 18 months in advance.

The restrooms at Pioneer Park are currently 1,200 square feet and will be renovated to include two family bathrooms in addition to the standard male and female gender stalls. They will be accented with red brick, a sloped roof, and other design features that complement the other buildings in Pioneer Park, such as the Rotary stage.

2. Playground

The playground at Pioneer Park Puyallup WA has plenty to offer a young family. Located next to the library and surrounded by beautiful landscaping, the playground is clean and well-maintained.

The park also has a tot lot, a Veteran’s Memorial, and a wading pool. The park is a great place to take the kids on a picnic or for a game of basketball or football.

Another thing to check out at Pioneer Park is the farmers market which takes place every Saturday throughout the summer. This is one of the largest markets in Pierce County, attracting thousands of people each week to purchase produce, flowers, local crafts, and more.

3. Picnic Area

Located in Downtown Puyallup, Pioneer Park has a statue of Ezra Meeker and a Veteran’s Memorial, along with a playground, Kiwanis Kids Spray Park, Rotary stage, built-in chess tables (see below), grassy area, benches, and mature trees.

The park also hosts the Puyallup Farmers Market in the spring and summer.

This park is a wonderful place to spend a day with friends or family. There are trails, a playground, ball fields, and a picnic area, among other amenities.

Another great thing to do in the park is fishing, with a 12-acre lake stocked with rainbow trout, largemouth bass, and brown bullhead catfish.

This park also has walking trails, ball fields, a picnic area, and waterfall features. In addition to these features, the park also offers a gazebo and shelter.

4. Parking

The park at Pioneer Park Puyallup WA is a great place to spend the day. It has several features like a Kiwanis Kids spray park, fountain, performance pavilion, chess tables, and a sculpture of Ezra Meeker, the park’s namesake.
